1. Information We Collect
When you create an account, we collect your email address, display name, and password (stored as a secure hash). When you play games, we collect gameplay data such as scores, game history, streak counts, and experience points. We may also collect basic device and browser information to improve the service.
2. How We Use Your Information
We use your information to operate and improve Believers Games, including displaying your profile, tracking game progress, computing leaderboard rankings, and sending important account notifications. We do not use your data for advertising or sell it to third parties.
3. Data Storage and Security
Your data is stored on secure servers. Passwords are hashed and never stored in plain text. We use industry-standard encryption for data in transit (HTTPS). While we implement reasonable security measures, no system is completely immune to risk, and we encourage you to use a strong, unique password.
4. Cookies
We use HTTP-only cookies for authentication purposes (session tokens). These cookies are essential to the operation of the platform and cannot be disabled. We do not use advertising or tracking cookies.
5. Third-Party Services
Believers Games is hosted on Fly.io and uses Neon PostgreSQL for database storage. These providers process data on our behalf and are bound by data processing agreements. We do not share your personal information with other third parties.
6. Children’s Privacy
Believers Games is intended for users 13 years of age and older. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child under 13 has provided us with personal information, please contact us immediately.
7. Your Rights
You have the right to access, correct, or delete your personal data. To request a data export or account deletion, please contact us at support@shommyx.com. We will process your request within 30 days.
8. Changes to This Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify you of significant changes by updating the “Last Updated” date at the top of this page. Continued use of the platform after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
